The helmet was equipped with sensory and information processing gadgets which included retractable lenses with a luminescent glow. The cowl of Batman’s Mech Suit has a titanium helmet beneath it. The kryptonite weakened Superman and made it possible for Batman's strength to match Superman's during physical combat. He was also armed with sonic amplifiers, grappling hook, explosives, smoke bombs (of different varieties), EMPs and a grenade launcher which he used to fire kryptonite gas grenades at Superman. It also contained his Batarang, medical kit, and magnetic Grappling Gun, which he used to fling Superman around and smash him against concrete columns. The design and content of Batman's utility belt vary with the type of suit he is wearing and the anticipated capabilities of the opposition.īatman's Mech Suit retained the utility belt and it carried various gadgets and weapons, surveillance equipment, and kryptonite gas grenades which Batman used to weaken Superman. The utility belt consists of pouches that contain Batman's superhero gear and accessories. Originally Batman's utility belt is a standard feature of his regular and tactical suits. ![]() It is also made partially with lead, rendering X-ray vision useless.Īlthough nowhere near as powerful as the Hellbat suit, it still increases his physical strength drastically. This forced Batman to fire yet another kryptonite gas grenade to weaken Superman. When Superman fully recovered from the effect of the kryptonite gas, Batman's augmented strength was unable to match Superman's. He was also able to fling him around like a rag doll, and rip off part of his helmet. But even after his powers had been depleted by kryptonite, Superman was still able to land blows that injured Batman. The kryptonite left the alien superhero with only a small fraction of his total superpowers. Despite the augmentation of his strength, Batman was able to match Superman in strength and powers only after Superman was severely weakened by kryptonite gas. Although Batman's Mech Suit suit is a powered armor that augmented his strength multiple times over, he still wasn't as strong as Superman. Despite this, the suit is not indestructible and has been shown to take quite a beating after his battle with Superman. It is a powered exoskeletal suit that functions as a wearable machine with powering mechanism. It was custom built by Bruce Wayne, and presumably uses Wayne tech military technology. The suit is not primarily designed to augment the strength and powers to fight Superman, but to provide an exoskeletal protection to help him survive sustained pummeling and pounding while the powering mechanism artificially enhanced Batman's strength and endurance, being designed to withstand a great deal of physical damage, providing Batman a great deal of protection against beings with strength superior to his own. It was also understood to be a symbol of his resolve to abandon the strategy of trying to save the world alone and instead team up with other superheroes to fight supervillains threatening the world. It is also suggested that he strongly rued not trusting Superman. It is speculated that Batman kept the suit in his Batcave as a reminder of the moment in the history of his superhero career when he came close to being defeated. The battered remains of the Batsuit was put on display in the Justice League's Batcave apparently as a homage to, and as a memento of the epic battle between the DCEU's two great superheroes. ![]() The damaged suit was later included in a collection of Batman memorabilia in the Justice League set. Batman's Mech Suit was badly damaged during the confrontation with Superman.
